Long has the desire to draw lain dorment...now, after a few months of teaching myself the various techniques in pixel art, I thought to share some of my dolls.
Please be aware that none of these dolls can be adopted or copied. If I have it, the credit for the base is below the doll, and in the dolling community they're quite strict about giving credit where credit is due...it's only fair. Please don't copy, cut, paste or Frankendoll any of these dolls on this page. It's an insult to the doll's creator to see their hard work chopped up and misused.
I've also added a gift section that two lovely young ladies have sent me - Gnomegoddess from Bravenet Journals and Keleos from Eden Enchanted. Both have been super nice in helping me get started.
Finally I've added an adopted doll section at the bottom showcasing the work of few exceptional artists. If you would like to see more of their work, the link to their site is below the doll. I can't think of anything else at the moment, this is all new to me. But please enjoy yourself and do what I often do - go exploring through their sites. *smiles*
Base by Kittenbox
Av bases by Crimson Haze
Av base exclusive to Eden Enchanted ~ do not adopt.
Base by Autumn Pixels - what can I say about this one? I had loads of fun drawing the hair, the outfit, the spiders...loosely based on the comic book character "Lady Death."
Adopted dolls
Called "Future Medjai Warrior" he was kind of well received on the EE mb. But as some members pointed out, he's lacking something. However I got compliments on the shading, the sword and his hair. I shall try again...trust me.
The artist of these incredible dolls, Jaeden, posted them on EE and has graciously allowed us to adopt them. Look at the shading, the colors, the skeleton....*shudders* I admire her for many things but mainly because she inspires me.
My entry for a challenge on EE - the object is to use black, white, various shades of gray and one color when drawing a doll. I call her "Little Miss Dangerous" and yeah, she's a female Paul Stanley from KISS.
Awesome rendition of the Queen of Egypt - don't you agree? [smiles]
A collab between myself and Gabby for a contest at EE. She did ALL of the work, and I just love the camel. We didn't win, but I was floored by her talent.
