1/23/2005 ~ Happy New Year! LOL Story of my life, always a day or two late with things.
So much going on, not sure where to begin. If you haven't checked out my journal, my muse has returned and with a vengeance, so say hallelujah with me now. And of course, as past behavior shows, she wants to work on 'everything' at once*blinks*
I've got about sixteen pages for "The Other Side," and a neat idea for a fight scene for Ardeth and the boys. I've also got a short story with Makin, who meets his love Allison, and hopefully will be able to teach Allison's town a lesson in not judging by appearance. I'm also going to take a look at Heroes but I'll be honest ~ nothing is coming to me yet on which direction to take it next. *sigh*
Thanks to the ever vigilant il Baqq trolling the net, I've got some more pictures to put up for my warriors, and the men I base them on. So if you're bored with everything else, at least there's some new eye candy. *giggle*
On the dolling front, I've won three awards for contest submissions, so I had to create an awards page. I've also made two more on a base that I absolutely love and I've got a muse for this sight. His name is Kateb and he'll be showing up real soon, so I guess you could say he's a site mascot if you will.
Snowday! Snowday instead of Sunday. We got about 10-12 inches and baybee am I digging it. I'm homebound and as snug as a bug in a rug, planning on writing and dolling to my heart's content today. Go me.

12/28/2004 ~ Happy holidays everyone! I've uploaded my first adoptable doll under the dolls section; she's a gift I made and I'm quite pleased at how she turned out. I've also added another warrior as a boy, and I hope you like my idea of how he looked when he was young. I won't say who it is, your gonna have to go to the dolls page and find out. *wink wink*
Good news and bad news on the writing front: Bad news...for the first time since I've started writing fanfic, I've asked il Baqq at the WOD to pull "Heroes IV" for now. The story has too many loose ends, and I think I may have written myself into a corner. I need time to sit down and really read it again, hoping that once I get back into Ardeth, Asiya, Nabil and Olivia, I'll remember what kind of chaos I had planned.
Yep, new year coming and I'm still evil. LOL
Good news...I have seven pages done for "The Other Side" and will most likely finish some more today. My muse is finally cooperating and I couldn't be happier. I'm also working on a Makin story as well and have about three pages done on that. *big smile*

11/1/2004 ~ Ch-ch-changes....I figured after a year or so of telling people how lost I am in Medjailand, it's time to revamp the ol' site here. Ya know what I mean - tweak a few things here, add a few things there. If you're still curious as to why I call this Forever Lost, feel free to check out the "blah blah blah" in the "About me" section.
This spot will showcase the updates I've done to the site, that way you don't have to go searching for them...unless you really want too. Then by all means, cruise around. M'Kay? I'm also going to chat about the events of my mundane life, so you've are warned. LOL
Now for the new thingiemabob's - I've added a few more pictures to the "Men Behind the Warriors" section, tweaked all the warrior pages, and of course added this. The "About Me" section is still being revised since my writing muse is at war with my drawing muse.
Yes that's right - I have two muses, and it's been hard trying to find the happy balance between them both.
The Pixel Art Muse has a page of her own listed below, and I've added a few new pictures there as well. I am determined to hone my skills so that someday soon, I'll be able to draw my warriors in PSP the way I see them, based on the men that have inspired them. For now, I'm just bumbling along...LOL
I have a webjournal below on Bravenet and having one has been a wonderful experience. I update it more frequently than I do this site...sorry.
Can't thinks of anything else, except to confirm that yes, I'm still lost...still enamored with a warrior named Ardeth, still dreaming of being held in his arms as he carries me off into the desert...still forever lost.

Updated Men Behind the Warriors with an
animation I did of the model for Nabil, Chris Douglas. Nothing else going on, except I'm trying to start a side business online, and I'm finishing TOS.
Still have alot to fix on this site though-anyone got any spare time they can lend me? lol
ps-also goofed around and added some sound files to a few pages. I'm debating on leaving them there or not...

Wow, I can't believe it's been about two years since I've last updated this site. Lots of things have happened in my life, and not all of them were good, but I'm going to start revising this when I can - I just don't know where to begin. lol
Guess I'll start off with the Warriors, eh? I have some new things to add, laws yessss, lots of new things to add.

6/10/05 ~ *waves white flag* I'm still alive but getting kicked by my job. Not enough hours in the day, never enough time during the week, weekends too short...I'm getting too old for this.
Sadly nothing new. But I"m looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train coming.
Dare I ask for those faithful readers, like The Kidd Mdd and SamIam, to have just a little more patience? I promise...fanfic is coming. Someday soon...
3/28/05 ~ I'm always amazed at the gifts I get from the lovely people I've met at EE, and I've managed to upload a few more. I feel so bad that I can't always respond with a gift back to them in a more timely manner but I tend to take my time with those things. Often, they're worth the wait. lol
I've also made some page changes, tweaked a few things here and there, and oh yeah: I've come to a decision about the languishing "Heroes." And it's a decision my muse is somewhat happy with...I'm going to revise it. But fear not, "The Other Side" is almost done, and I'm kind of surprised that for a story that's taken me so long to write, it's kind of...erm, it may be the same length as "Somewhere In Time." I'm bringing in a surprise character too....[evil grin]
For those of you who read my fanfic, I thank you for your patience and understanding. On top of working too hard for too litte, I got sick a week ago, and am still recovering from a bad cold.

3/7/2005 ~ Not much of an update, sad to say...real life has been kicking me down, and I haven't been able to do much lately. And that makes me sad. No writing, no drawing, nothing. I did, however, manage to finish this piece, and I'm totally proud of it. I'm still working on adding base credit links, and of course, always working on fanfic...always. Please...be patient...*smiles*
