Who in the world is Mommints...??
Either your that bored or that curious....guess you'll have to wait a wee bit longer. I'm not in the mood to divulge too much information at the moment. But here's a wee bit:

Hobbies:

Organizer of the new self-help program for those of us who are reluctant to admit that we are Medjaiaholics. Hello, my name is Mommints and I'm a Medjaiaholic.

I love to read, love to write despite the lack of time, and love my husband and furrkids. I also love to garden, cook, shop for antiques and crafts, but mostly I spend my spare time on the computer.

Personal Bio:

Are you really interested in this? ;-) Again still not much to tell, I'm a pessimistic optimist but now eagerly cling to the dream that someday, I will be able to have a story published.

Physical attributes:

Schyeah right, like I'm gonna disclose the nitty gritty details here.  We're talking I'm shy people so let your imaginations run wild with some of the basics.

I have two eyes - their gray/blue.
I have long, curly brown hair that gets a eight week coloring to hide the gray that comes in rather quickly now
I have all my 2000 body parts, although some of them protest at times
But my biggest accomplishment is that I can walk and chew gum at the same time.
Life is good, go me.

Now don't you want to get back to the other stuff on this site rather than this?

Shhhhh, don't tell my warriors but my two favorite characters from LOTR is Aragorn and Eomer. Gee I have a thing for warriors, eh?  LOL
Hey...how did that get there???  *looks innocent*

Welcome to my little corner of the web.  If I had to blame someone for doing this, ultimately the fault would settle on the actor, Oded Fehr.  After all, if not for him and his role in the film, "The Mummy", I wouldn't be where I'm at today.

Erm, and I can hear those who know me snort and say, "The guttah."  Oh hush and let me get on with this schpeel.  ;)

So I'll clarify and if I lose you somewhere along the way, I understand.  It's hard to ignore the links that I've set up below.  I know curiosity killed the cat but remember satisfaction brought it back.  ;)

When I first saw TM, I was so intrigued by the actor who played the dark and brooding Ardeth Bay that I surfed the net the next day to see what I could find on the man.  I can't recall where I stumbled first but eventually I came across a site called "The Oded Fehr Appreciation Site" and its message board. The rest is history as I willingly allowed myself to be pulled deeper and deeper into this particular fandom.  Normally a shy person, I found myself making friends, chatting, and contemplating about writing my first fanfic.

That notion prompted me in to visiting the Land of Dreams and Weaver of Dreams fanfic sites.  As I voraciously devoured as much fanfic stories as I could find, I furiously and nervously composed my first story.  When I read it today I actually wince over a few things about it but hey, it was my first attempt.  I was and still am enthralled with writing Mummy fanfic just as I was enamored with Mr. Fehr.  The more I read about him, the more appealing he seemed to get, and I readily fell into the warrior type of character a la Ardeth.

Then a strange thing happened and I know, this is getting long, so I'll wrap it up, I promise.  Characters, especially Medjai, came to me out of the blue and began whispering in my ear.  They told me what they looked like, their personalities and history-the first one was Nabil, my gray-eyed warrior.  Soon more followed and with each new warrior appearing came a story that they hope I'll someday tell.

If your curious about my warriors, then by all means click on the link below; their bio's continually change and get updated as they continue to emerge in my mind.  I have other characters but none of them stay with me 24/7 like they do, thus the title of this site - I'm forever lost in Medjailand.   However I give full credit and loyalty to Oded for his other roles, Frank Donovan who is quite handsome and intense [merde!], but I'm still drawn back to Ardeth.

Still drawn back to the desert...

...and still imagine what it would be like to be swept up into his strong arms and carried off to a lush oasis where we would make love all night long.  Yeah, it's a wacky fantasy but it's mine and sometimes it's what carries me through the day.

Thanks for reading, and please let me know if you've visited here.  Feedback is appreciated.
